The Mission of NutraLogic Health & Wellness

NutraLogic Health & Wellness is a patient-centered, science-based nutrition practice. Its mission is to provide personalized holistic nutrition care and counseling, whereby the client’s goals, medical history, diet and lifestyle are taken into account. This is done with the purpose of creating scientifically sound and effective medical nutrition therapies/interventions to help create, sustain and revitalize health, wellness and wellbeing.

The Clinical Approach of NutraLogic Health & Wellness

Functional Nutrition
NutraLogic Health & Wellness adopts a functional nutrition approach in which the goal is to identify the root cause(s) of nutrition-related conditions, disorders and diseases rather than simply treating symptoms. Using the Nutrition Care Process (i.e., nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation) in tandem with functional testing, a results-oriented, uniquely tailored nutrition program is created to address the client’s nutrition-related health concerns. It is in this way that each client is given personalized nutrition care and counseling.

Show-Me-the-Data
NutraLogic Health & Wellness adopts a science- and evidenced-based approach to clinical practice. Over the course of my education and training as a researcher and nutritionist I learned that the best clinical and patient outcomes are determined by credible evidence (i.e., scientific research and traditional-use data) to nutritionally diagnose and address the health concerns of clients. As a clinician, the principle of show-me-the-data is always in play throughout the Nutrition Care Process where there is a nutrition assessment-reassessment, nutrition diagnosis, nutrition Intervention and nutrition monitoring/evaluation in-tandem with functional testing so as to create tailor-made evidenced-based medical nutritional therapies and the best health and wellness outcomes for the client.

Client-Centered
At NutraLogic Health & Wellness, client-centered nutrition is a priority and foundational to the practice. That is, the client's mind (e.g., values, attitudes & beliefs) body, feelings, emotions, ways of being/behaving and spirit, along with diet and lifestyle preferences are always taken into account and essential to the choices and decisions made about the client’s nutritional care and counseling.
